From junk to guns...

I posted about the plastic AR-15 built from a cutting board back in February, but here is the actual video. Really cool stuff.  OrionsHammer claims he fired 100 rounds through it, so it seems pretty solid.  I wonder if you could sandwich some 4130 sheet steel on the outside, screw it in place, and harden the holes to give it some extra strength.  I think a lower made from cutting board using a Dremmel would be easier then trying to make one up with a drill press and an expensive 80% lower.

Also be sure to look at the video of his blowbAK pistol, made from washing machine sheet metal, Tokarev barrel, an AK fire control group, and some rubber bands.  Here's the original thread on Weaponeer.
