The Assassination of Jesse James....

Just saw "The Assassination of Jesse James by the Coward Robert Ford."  This is probably one of the best movies I have ever seen.  I had to buy it on DVD and rewatch it just to make sure, and I was right.  The art direction, the acting, the dialog, and the music are fantastic.  It's easy to spot bad acting in any movie, but for some reason I never appreciated or noticed good acting in a movie until now.

It amazes me how garbage like "The Hurt Locker" or "Avatar" could win academy awards while a masterpiece like "Jesse James" is hardly acknowledged.
